Peter was Vice Chairman from 1999 to 2005 and Chairman from 2005 to 2010. Several landmark events in the Club’s history took place during Peter’s tenure on the Committee. These included the rebranding of the Victorian Amateur Turf Club to the Melbourne Racing Club, the construction of the Sir Rupert Clarke Grandstand at Caulfield Racecourse, expanded commercial projects, revenue-generating activities and the Caulfield Masterplan.
