Caulfield

Chairman’s Message. After months of uncertainty one thing is for sure, we are set for a Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Day for the ages. With a few false starts, we’ve been building up to this moment all year and although it looks vastly different to the race day we all love and enjoy, it will be a memorable one, nonetheless. The Club is proud of our innovation and what we have been able to achieve under the circumstances we’ve faced. We’ve worked tirelessly to create many initiatives to ensure a memorable and exciting Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival for our members and racing fans and quite literally deliver all the racing action, fun, food and fashion into your homes. We are looking forward to welcoming our Caulfield Cup Hero, Deborah Ward and MRC member Tracey Fenton on course. Tracey nominated Deborah as her local hero who has gone above and beyond providing support and care to COVID-19 patients. Both ladies will take part in the official trophy procession and be responsible for bringing the $155,000 Stella Artois Caulfield Cup trophy to the racecourse ahead of the feature race. Whilst our valued members cannot attend, our full members will still have a presence on course in the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup with their names immortalised on the saddlecloths worn by the final field. Post-race these saddlecloths will go up for auction, so be sure to visit the MRC Foundation website before Friday 23 October to purchase a piece of history.
