Peter Lawrence was elected to the Club’s Committee in September 1978 and during his time on the Committee held the office of Treasurer from 1984, Vice Chairman from 1985 before becoming the Club Chairman in 1988. Upon his retirement as Chairman in 1999 Peter remained on the Committee for a further 10 years contributing significantly to the success and development of the Club in so many areas during his tenure. Peter has been a Member of the Club for 46 years and is deservedly an Honorary Life Member of Club.
