2 Chairman’s Message. I am extremely proud of what has been achieved by our Club throughout what has been a year like no other. Now it’s our time to shine on the Australian racing calendar. Neds Caulfield Guineas Day is a spectacular day of racing, a 10-race card with four Group 1 races including the Neds Caulfield Guineas, Neds Stakes, Schweppes Thousand Guineas and the Lexus Toorak Handicap featuring high quality fields. The Group 2 Neds Herbert Power Stakes is also set to be a great race, offering the winner ballot exemption into the world’s richest turf race – the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup – our Cup. I am pleased to welcome our new partner Magic Millions who sponsor the Listed Magic Millions Debutant Stakes on the card, which is also lining up to be a fantastic field of up and coming talent. As Melbourne continues in lockdown, the Club has worked tirelessly to create many initiatives to ensure a memorable and exciting Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival for our members and racing fans and quite literally deliver all the racing action, fun, food and fashion into your homes. Whilst sadly not being able to attend, our full members will have a presence on course in the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup next Saturday as your names are immortalised on the 18 saddlecloths worn by the final field. Members will be notified which saddlecloth number features their name, so please keep an eye out for a confirmation email coming your way on Thursday. Our Social Style Stakes competition begins today and we invite all our members to don a suit, spring dress or something in the Carnival spirit and share the fun with us across social media.
