CARLYON T. S. Carlyon was elected to the original Melbourne Racing Club Committee in 1951. He served that Club as Treasurer and then Chairman until the merger with the VATC in 1963. He served as the VATC Vice Chairman until 1966 and then as Chairman until 1972. He was active as a Committeeman until his retirement in 1977.
