Peter Lawrence was elected to the Club’s Committee in September 1978 and during his time on the Committee held the office of Treasurer from 1984, Vice Chairman from 1985 before becoming the Club Chairman in 1988. Upon his retirement as Chairman in 1999 Peter remained on the Committee for a further 10 years contributing significantly to the success and development of the Club in many areas during his tenure and was deservedly made an Honorary Life Member of Club. Peter passed away in February 2020.
