He was Honorary Treasurer from 1979 to 1984 and was Vice Chairman from 1980 until his retirement in 1988. Mr Miller also served the Racing Industry for many years as a Club representative on the Committee of Management of the Epsom Training Centre and the Mentone Disposal and Rehabilitation Committee, including seven years as Chairman of both Committees. He was made a Life Member of the Club on his retirement from the Committee.
