12 Stewards Report Race 1 TAB HANDICAP 1200M Cobra Club Shifted out on jumping and bumped. Rdr stated after obtaining the lead, his mnt, which was racing in blinkers for the first time, raced keenly through the early and middle stages. He added after placing his mnt under pressure rounding the home turn, it failed to respond to his riding in the straight and weakened over the final 150m, and he further added he had some concerns with the way it was breathing through the middle stages. A post-race vet exam revealed the colt to be displaying mild heat stress. Tnr rep subsequently reported the colt pulled up well but it will now be gelded and spelled. WYNG 19/03/2025 Fermoy Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped. Passing the 400m shifted out and away from another rnr and made contact. RHIL 15/03/2025 Maquisa Began awkwardly. After being held up from the 300m, when attempting to improve between runners approaching the 100m, was steadied and was shifted to the outside of heels. Protest against 1st dismissed. CANT09/07/2025 Sonic Scene Began awkwardly. CANT23/07/2025 Burma Star When qst re riding in early stages, rdr std was instructed to ensure obtained cover. Std from a wide barrier having re to instructions & with mnt racing in blkrs for first time, was reluctant to ride it along in early stages to obtain a more-forward position.
