When qst, rdr std he was instructed to ride his mnt positively and settle where comfortable. He added after beginning runner began and when another runner positioned to rdr outside and forward of mnt showed intent to lead he elected to allow that runner to cross to allow his mnt to settle comfortably. Around home turn mount was placed under some pressure, at 200m became badly held up when positioned behind another runner and to inside of an additional runner.
