Race 7 - 5:10PM TAB CANBERRA CUP (2000 METRES) 2 PATHS OF GLORY (GB) 20/02/2021 Rosehill Gardens Slow to begin and from a wide barrier then was shifted behind runners in the early stages. 3 ENTENTE 19/02/2021 Canberra Protested against by 5th place - Dismissed. 4 SOLDIER OF LOVE 27/02/2021 Royal Randwick Between the 400m and the 300m became held up. 6 MR MARATHON MAN (GB) 20/02/2021 Rosehill Gardens When questioned re riding & whether there was an opportunity to take up a forward position to avoid racing wide & w/out cover, rdr std instructions were to endeavour to ride quietly to find cover if mnt was caught wide. Std after commencing well he contemplated riding mnt conservatively, but when it raced too keenly he was obliged to race wide & w/out cover for majority of event. Rdr agreed with Stwds having regard to the slow pace of event in mid stages, when caught wide should have allowed mnt to stride forward & take up a position outside leader. 8 MAID OF ORE 19/02/2021 Canberra Rider was permitted to ride his mount 1/2kg overweight in accordance with the overweight policy. 9 AUSSIE NUGGET (IRE) 20/02/2021 Caulfield Slow to begin (4L). Held up and unable to improve from the 600 metres before obtaining clear running near the 400 metres. Held up over the concluding stages and went to the line not fully tested. 12 SPUNLAGO 19/02/2021 Canberra Over-raced when trapped three-wide in the early and middles stages. Raced keenly in the middle stages. Race 8 - 5:50PM OPC IT HANDICAP (1400 METRES) 1 IMPRESSIVE LASS 25/02/2021 Wyongraced wide and without cover throughout the event. 3 ISLAND BAY BOY 21/02/2021 GoulburnWhen questioned, rider stated that whilst her mount was slow to begin, it had been her intention to ride her mount further back from its wide gate. Q’d regarding his riding passing the 150m, rider std whilst there was a run available in advance of him between runners he shifted to the inside of runner to continue into clear running. He added that at the point of shifting to the inside of that runner his mnt which was laying in, ran in abruptly 10 LIBERATA 22/02/2021 Queanbeyan Turned its head as the start was effected and lost ground (2L). 11 JUST A HUSTLER 16/02/2021 GoulburnWhen questioned regarding the performance of the mare, rider stated that his mount did not appear to stretch out in the straight under riding and was disappointing.
