"Camperdown Cup Trainers Trophy." The family of late Camperdown trainer Geoff Daffy have donated a trophy in his memory to the winning trainer of the Camperdown Cup. Geoff died unexpectedly in Feb 2020. Geoff was a highly respected and well known trainer, particularly in Western Victoria. He enjoyed a potent Trainer/Jockey partnership with Camperdown jockey and now trainer Neville Wilson which lasted 35 years. Geoff trained dozens of individual city winners and multiple listed race winners with a very small stable. He loved nothing more than winning his hometown cup, which he did on 6 occasions with Vena, SkiptonTown, Gavel, Many are Called(twice and training the quinella both years with Shango's image) and Population.
