Camperdown Turf Club LOGO goes here In order to celebrate the long and successful career of Neville “Nifty” Wilson, Camperdown Turf Club Committee have come together, to run a Jockey challenge throughout today’s race meeting. Nifty is a local (Camperdown), retired jockey who throughout his recently concluded career of race riding, has encountered many achievements along the way. Some of Nifty’s many achievements include: ¥ Order of Australia ¥ 5 group one races won ¥ 2000+ winners ¥ A successful career lasting over 50 years, just to name a few! The Jockey challenge is won by the jockey who ends today’s Camperdown race meeting with the most amount of points accumulated. The winning jockey will win a custom made whip and their name and points to be inserted onto the club’s trophy. The point system functions as follows: 1st place = 7 points 2nd place = 5 points 3rd place = 3 points 4th place = 2 points 5th place = 1 point Camperdown Cup = 10 points!!!
