App stated she endeavoured to give mount some cheaper sectionals in middle stages before asking for sprint near 400m. App stated mount failed to respond to her efforts from this point & weakened to line. Tnr stated gelding has raced best when it obtains an easy lead so as to sustain a finishing effort.
