Lay out under pressure from the 200m. BLACK ZOUS (I Luximon) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and commenced to shift inwards for the first 300m whilst being ridden forward. LUSKIN HERO (H Le Blanc) – Shifted outwards under pressure leaving the 200m. ZESTIMAN (P Denton) – Commenced slow into stride losing ground and then commenced to over-race when ridden forward. Shifted outwards off heels leaving the 150m to obtain clear running. DEMIQUAVER (R Vigar) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner. MOUGENOT (J Philpot) – Momentarily tightened for room between runners at the 1000m having to take hold and raced wide throughout thereafter. General: On inquiry, I Luximon (BLACK ZOUS) was reprimanded under AR131(a) for careless riding for allowing his mount to shift ground inwards when insufficiently clear causing some tightening to other runners. 1ST LUSKIN HERO 2ND ZESTIMAN 3RD BLACK ZOUS Race 2: Ladbrokes Red Centre Winter Series (Heat 3) Handicap 0-64 – 1100m Trainer G Connor was interviewed by Stewards in regards to the riding instructions he intended to issue his riders as he had multiple runners in this event. FLYING START (S Tsaikos) – Trainer advised the Stewards that the gelding would be ridden a little cold early. This information was disseminated to the public prior to start time. RIVER FROST (I Luximon) – Began awkwardly losing ground. HELLIVIT (L Maloney) – Lay in from the 200m when tested with the whip. Cast near hind plate in running. BOSS SHELBY (H Le Blanc) – Slow into stride. ONLY THE BEST (J Booth) – Lay out rounding the home turn and into the home straight. ENVENOMATE (D Hirini) – Began awkwardly. 1ST BRAT 2ND FLYING START 3RD HELLIVIT Race 3: Steely Sales Maiden Plate SW - 1400m DENUTO (R Vigar) – Ridden hard early to obtain a forward position. FLAVIUS (H Le Blanc) – Began awkwardly and inclined to race ungenerously early having to steady off heels. Began to yield ground from the 650m finishing well back. Rider reported that the gelding did not feel right in running. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no apparent abnormalities. HIGHSTRUNG (J Philpot) – Inclined to over-race into the first turn having to steady off heels and again had to steady at the 700m when continuing to over-race. PRICE SHARE (L Maloney) – Began awkwardly and raced wide throughout. STARTYOURENGINE (P Denton) – Inclined to lay out rounding the first turn. 1ST GARRIX 2ND DENUTO 3RD STARTYOURENGINE Race 4: Happy Birthday Terry Huish Handicap 0-64 – 1400m EVEN SHARPER (P Denton) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner and inconvenience for clear running between runners shortly after. VALLEY PRINCE (J Booth) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. THE BIG FREEZE (D Barton) – Raced wide early and middle stages. NASHA (S Tsaikos) – Slow into stride. SHEER REWARD (D Hirini) – Knuckled slightly on jumping. 1ST THE BIG FREEZE 2ND NASHA 3RD EVEN SHARPER Race 5: Red Centre Technology Partners Handicap BM54 - 1600m Trainer W Savage and stable foreman for K Petrick, L Griswood, were interviewed by Stewards in regards to the riding instructions they intended to issue there riders as they had multiple runners in this event. OKESUTORA (R Vigar) – Ridden hard early to obtain a forward position. MIRACOLI (D Hirini) – Raced wide into the home straight. STARTON (I Luximon) – Crowded for room on jumping bumping with other runners. THE ACCELATOR (S Tsaikos) – Raced wide early and middle stages of the race. BRAZEN SAILOR (J Booth) – Began to yield ground from the 600m when under pressure. HELL OF A GENT (D Barton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide into the home straight. REAL DIVINE (L Maloney) – Began awkwardly veering outwards bumping with another runner. BECQUEREL (P Denton) – Steadied off runner’s heels which was yielding ground at the 400m. General: Stewards interviewed rider R Vigar (OKESUTORA) after he stopped riding his mount close to the finish and was beaten out of third placing by a long head. Stewards after reviewing the patrol footage were satisfied that his actions did not affect the placings but he was issued with a reprimanded under AR131(b) for failing to ride his mount out to the finish. 1ST STARTON 2ND ACCELATOR 3RD CAPISTAN Stewards Report
