W FM 05/03/2025 Hallett Blundered badly on jumping resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. W FM 05/03/2025 Weeping Woman Near the 150m became unbalanced after shifting out & making contact with another rnr. When qst re riding in early stages & whether there was an option to maintain the lead, rdr std he was instructed to ride mnt in or near lead. He said after beginning well & obtaining lead, he was satisfied with tempo being set whereby mnt was travelling comfortably. He said when other rnrs were both being ridden forward, he felt he would have had to take mnt out of its comfort zone to maintain the lead, therefore he allowed those rnrs to cross near the 800m. NCLE 01/03/2025 No Second Thoughts Laid in rounding the home turn and made contact with another runner. Rider explinaed mount better suited when able to dictate terms in the lead and did not appreciate carrying heavy impost. Post-race vet no abnormalities. Stable advised would now be spelled. ORAN 10/10/2024 Mischievous Molly Rdr reported the mare did not stretch out comfortably when under pressure in the home straight and when out of contention for the placings he did not test it over the final 100m. A post-race vet exam revealed the mare to be lame (2/5) in the off hindleg. Tnr was told a vet clearance would be required prior to next race/trial. VC rec.
