W FM 05/03/2025 Cripps Tonite A post-race vet exam of the gelding, which weakened in the home straight, revealed it to be lame (1/5) in the off foreleg. Tnr was told a vet clearance will be required prior to next race/trial. RAND 01/03/2025 Angara Rdr reported that, after being slow to begin, the gelding failed to muster speed, despite being ridden along and, as a consequence, settled at the rear of the field. NCLE 01/03/2025 Bomarea Jockey instructed to ride positively. Stated after beginning well, commenced riding along to cross runners drawn to inside. Stated pass 1000m, runner was maintaining three-wide position to inside & as her mount had established a margin, continued to ride forward to cross & avoid being caught wide. Stated after obtain lead pass 800m, mount travelled comfortably, however, after initially quickening on straightening, weakened significantly over final 200m. He said mnt travelled satisfactorily throughout the middle stages, however when the race developed into a sprint home it was disappointing in the manner in which it closed off the race. When questioned, rdr stated when another rnr lost ground abruptly near the 800m he believed that runner had broken down and, therefore, shifted ground abruptly to avoid the prospect of being brought down. Inclined to lay out rounding home turn & shortly after was bumped & momentarily became unbalanced when crowded. Leaving the 300m was again bumped & became unbalanced & as a result was badly buffeted. Rdr reported his mnt travelled comfortably when leading at a steady tempo through early & mid stages, however when another rnr improved quickly to his outside near the 800m, his mnt did not travel as comfortably due to the faster tempo, & after laying out rounding home turn & being buffeted badly near the 300m, it did not close off over the concluding stages. 17 POLICY The Australian Turf Club is committed to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) across all our venues and endeavours to comply at all times with all the requirements of the NSW Liquor Act 2007. The Club is an active member of a number of Local Liquor Accords including the Eastern Beaches Liquor Accord and also the Rosehill and Liverpool Liquor Accords. The Australian Turf Club has adopted the following House Policy, which provides a framework for the Responsible Service of Alcohol. ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION Patrons who are intoxicated or approaching intoxication will be refused admission to our venues. Patrons who are observed drinking upon approach to one of our venues will be refused entry. Appropriate and compliant signage will be displayed at all entry points. Patrons on board “Party Buses’, Limousines or Hire Cars with alcohol present will have their intoxication levels assessed by Security and risk refusal of entry to the venue. Any patron refused service by bar staff or identified by Security as approaching intoxication will be asked to leave the venue immediately as per Section 77 of the NSW Liquor Act 2007 UNDER AGE DRINKING The Australian Turf Club recognises the following fonns of identification: • A driver’s or rider’s licence or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country) • Australian passport or a foreign passport issued by another country, • NSW photo card (issued by Roads and Maritime Services NSW) • Proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age • Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post. Patrons who appear to be aged 25 years or under may be asked for identification at any time by Security, Police or an ATC staff member. If identification is unable to, or refused to be produced that patron will be asked to leave the venue. Any minor found in close proximity to or using alcohol or gaming outlets will be asked to leave the venue. The person identified as being responsible for the minor (as per the NSW Liquor Act 2007 in relation to Responsible Adults) will also be asked to leave the venue. ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR Any patron found to be disrupting the quiet enjoyment of other patrons around them by means of their actions or behaviour will be asked to leave the venue. TRAINING AND PROMOTIONS All staff have been informed about their obligations in relation to this policy on Responsible Service of Alcohol and have been adequately trained to support this policy. 18 (1) At a race meeting within the metropolitan area, a bookmaker is obliged to lay the odds displayed if demanded by the backer, except that the bookmaker is not compelled to lose on any one bet more than the amount Racing NSW may determine and publish as the minimum bet list entttled “Betting limits for on-course Bookmakers to comply with BR13”, as published on tts webstte and amended from time to time. (2) When the backer claims the bookmaker for a win and place bet which is greater than the limits prescribed by this rule, the bookmaker must bet the backer the proportional equivalent of an each-way wager. (3) At a race meeting outside the metropolitan area or at an audttorium or betting office, the committee of a club may from time to time determine the minimum wager which bookmakers must be bound to lay when betting on any part of the club’s premises. (4) Once a race has started, a bookmaker is not compelled to accept any bet or, alternatively, is not compelled to bet the minimum limits prescribed in this rule. On many weekend race meetings there is free children’s entertainment available. Children in the general admission area should be under the company of a responsible adult at all times. Children entering the Members’ Enclosure must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times and must be suitably attired. There are no restricted areas within the racecourse (except for ‘Members’ Only Areas’) however patrons under the age of 18 years of age (minors) are not permitted entry to the racecourse unless accompanied by their Legal Guardian or Loco Parentis.
