WYNG 21/02/2026 Somerton Smart Raced three-wide and without cover throughout the event.SCNE20/03/2026 La Basilique Raced wide and without cover throughout. CANT19/11/2025 Sapling Began awkwardly. Near the 900m had to be steadied to avoid heels. WYNG 26/11/2025 Fairway To Heaven Rdr reported the filly made an abnormal respiratory noise. A post-race vet exam revealed the filly to have a poor post-race recovery. Stable rep was advised a vet clearance, including the results of an endoscopic examination, would be required prior to being permitted to barrier trial or race again. Vet clearance since received. W FM 26/01/2026 Lipstick COT: Further forward; Settled back. Began awkwardly and lost ground (2L). WYNG 10/02/2026 Lighthouse Lass Rdr reported it was not his intention to lead, however after his mnt began well it was able to obtain the lead without being overly pressured. RAND 27/12/2025 Arriving Home COT: To settle further forward; settled on pace. RHIL 21/03/2026 Sonofdec Rider reported that, after the gelding was slow to begin, he was obliged to settle at the rear of the field. He added that the gelding did not respond to his riding in the home straight and failed to take any appreciable ground from the field. Rider further added that, in his opinion, the gelding would appreciate a track with more give. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Rdr reported that mount tended to overrace at various stages during the race and was one-paced to the line. Std the gelding raced flat and may have come to the end of its preparation. 17 POLICY The Australian Turf Club is committed to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) across all our venues and endeavours to comply at all times with all the requirements of the NSW Liquor Act 2007. The Club is an active member of a number of Local Liquor Accords including the Eastern Beaches Liquor Accord and also the Rosehill and Liverpool Liquor Accords. The Australian Turf Club has adopted the following House Policy, which provides a framework for the Responsible Service of Alcohol. ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION Patrons who are intoxicated or approaching intoxication will be refused admission to our venues. Patrons who are observed drinking upon approach to one of our venues will be refused entry. Appropriate and compliant signage will be displayed at all entry points. Patrons on board “Party Buses’, Limousines or Hire Cars with alcohol present will have their intoxication levels assessed by Security and risk refusal of entry to the venue. Any patron refused service by bar staff or identified by Security as approaching intoxication will be asked to leave the venue immediately as per Section 77 of the NSW Liquor Act 2007 UNDER AGE DRINKING The Australian Turf Club recognises the following fonns of identification: • A driver’s or rider’s licence or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country) • Australian passport or a foreign passport issued by another country, • NSW photo card (issued by Roads and Maritime Services NSW) • Proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age • Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post. 19 Children are welcome at all race meetings held at Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Canterbury Park and Warwick Farm. On many weekend race meetings there is free children’s entertainment available. Children in the general admission area should be under the company of a responsible adult at all times. Children entering the Members’ Enclosure must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times and must be suitably attired. There are no restricted areas within the racecourse (except for ‘Members’ Only Areas’) however patrons under the age of 18 years of age (minors) are not permitted entry to the racecourse unless accompanied by their Legal Guardian or Loco Parentis. (Responsible adult). This can be in the form of: • A parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor • A person who is, for time being, in loco parentis to the minor. This person must be 25 years of age or older and be able to verify to the satisfaction of the ATC their relationship to the minor Definition of In Loco Parentis. The term “Loco Parentis” describes a relationship similar to that of a parent to a child; specifically it refers to an individual who assumes parental status and responsibilities for another individual, usually a young person, without formally adopting that person.
