In the early stages was steadied in an endeavour to obtain cover. When left racing wide and without cover leaving the 1000m, was allowed to stride forward to obtain a position closer to the rail, however remained racing wide and without cover. W FM 31/08/2022 Mr Plume (NZ) COT: to be ridden further forward; settled on pace. Near the 1700m, when endeavouring to obtain cover was inconvenienced. Rdr std after settling back in field as instructed, mnt failed to quicken when placed under pressure rounding home turn & was one-paced to finish. A post-race vet exam did not rev any abs. K GR 28/03/2023 Marelle (NZ) Shortly after the start was bumped. Rdr reported the filly, which performed below market expectations, would be better suited over longer distances. CANB 12/03/2023 Cap Estel COT: To settle further forward; settled off pace.RAND 21/01/2023 Passistas Rdr reported it was intended to ride his mnt closer to the pace, however after beginning only fairly he then was obliged to endeavour to find cover behind midfield, but it did not travel well at any stage and was disappointing. A post-race vet exam revealed the mare to be coughing and to be lame (1/5) in the near-foreleg. Tnr was told a vet clearance is required prior to next race/barrier trial. RAND 17/12/2022 Bowery Breeze Near the 300m made contact with another rnr.W FM 11/01/2023 Twitch On straightening was hampered when bumped. A post-race vet exam revealed the mare to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasion, tnr was advised of the provisions of AR79(4). Since passed trial at Wyong 24/2/23. KENS 10/08/2022 Compassionate Began awkwardly. Bumped on entering home straight by MAJESTIC SHOT which shifted out to improve.DOOM 18/03/2023

K GR 19/11/2022 Jupitus Began awkwardly and shortly after was steadied from heels. Rdr reported due to the genuine tempo he was required to pressure his mount from the 600m to maintain its position. He said as a result his mount peaked on its run in the straight and finished off only fairly. A post race vet exam rev no abs. When qst, rdr reported mnt became stirred up in its preliminary & behind the barriers. Std mnt, which was first up, was able to obtain a pos outside the lead throughout the early & mid stages where it travelled satisfactorily. Std mnt came under pressure leaving 600m & commenced to give ground from 400m. Std when out of contention, eased mnt down from 200m. Post race vet exam rev no abs. Stable rep was adv the gelding will be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before being permitted to race again. W FM 15/03/2023 Rediener COT: to be ridden more conservatively; settled back. From a wide barrier shifted in behind runners early stages. KENS 22/03/2023 Olentia Began awkwardly. Jockey J Byrne reported that despite beginning awkwardly and losing some ground at the start, he was still able to obtain what he felt was a favourable position in running. Jockey Byrne added that the filly travelled comfortably during the event and ran on well in the home straight, however in his opinion was not entirely comfortable on the firm racing surface. GCST 07/01/2023 Sweet Mercy Over the concluding 50m was inconvenienced when racing tight to the inside of another rnr. W FM 04/01/2023 Great Barrier Reef COT: To settle further forward: Settled midfield. On jumping was bumped. Raced wide & without cover for the majority of the event. Rdr confirmed instructions to ride in a fwd pos. Std despite efforts did not show enough speed early to obtain a fwd pos, so to avoid being caught wide & without cover, elected to take up a trailing position behind midfield. Std was left racing wide & without cover from 700m & when under pressure in the straight didn’t respond to riding & raced like the horse had come to the end of its prep. Post-race vet exam rev no abs. Stable rep adv Stwds it will now be spelled RHIL 03/12/2022 Glowing Gold Shortly after start was bumped. Rdr reported was obliged to make some use of his mnt in early stages to obtain a forward position. Std mnt came under pressure from 600m & rounding hometurn the filly became awkward in its action & for this reason desisted from pressuring mnt over final 250m & eased it down. Stable rep advised Stwds mnt will now be spelled. Notwithstanding this advice stable rep was advised the filly will have to trial to satisfaction of Stwds before racing again. A post race vet exam rev the filly had mild heat stress & was slow to recover. W FM 26/01/2023 Surfers Royale Slow to begin and shortly after was crowded from room. Rdr confirmed the intention was to race in the lead if possible yet after being crowded at the start settled off the pace. Rdr further stated the colt raced flat and may have come to the end of its preparation. Rdr further stated that when out of contention he did not test the colt after the final 100m. A post race vet exam revealed no abs. Tnr advised that the colt will now be spelled. W FM 23/11/2022 Union Army Shortly after the start was bumped. K GR 15/09/2022 La Pittrice Shifted out and made heavy contact with a rnr and as a consequence became unbalanced. W FM 15/03/2023 Shadows Of Love On jumping was bumped on the hindquarter. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight and near the 300m was shifted to obtain clear running and as a result made contact with a runner. HAWK 04/03/2023 Semana Shortly after the start shifted in & made contact with a rnr. When qst, rdr std he led on mnt as anticipated & was able to achieve some moderate early sectionals, however with its light weight decided to increase the tempo from 600m. Added mnt was disappointing in the manner in which it weakened over the final 100m & in his opinion it may be better over a slightly shorter distance. A post-race vet exam revealed filly to be lame (2/5) in off-foreleg. Tnr rep was told a vet clearance is required prior to next race/barrier trial. Vet clearance since received. RHIL 07/01/2023

BEAU21/03/2023 Sandpaper Rdr reported received no specific instructions. He said first up over 1400m the gelding overraced with the blinkers and was unable to finish the race off. KENS 22/03/2023 Race 7 THE LAWN SHED HANDICAP 1300m Capo Strada Rider reported that the gelding travelled comfortably behind the leader through the early and middle stages, however when another runner improved quickly to its outside approaching the 600m, his mount commenced to race keenly. He said that in his view, his mount is suspect at the 1400m journey and the fact that the horse tended to overrace after leaving the 600m left it without a finishing effort. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. W FM 03/10/2022 Sailor (NZ) Momentarily held up rounding the home turn. RHIL 16/11/2022 Viadelamore (IRE) Rdr reported the gelding was one paced when placed under pressure in the straight and requires a longer distance. A post race vet exam revealed no abs. W FM 08/02/2023 Bartoselli Began awkwardly. W FM 15/03/2023 Invincible Vision Rdr reported he was obliged to make some use of the gelding to obtain the lead. Std mnt, which was second up from an extended break, then gave ground in the straight and raced flat. A post race vet exam revealed the gelding to be slow to recover. Co-trainer agreed with the views of the rdr and said it would be the stable’s intention to freshen the gelding up prior to its next race start. Co-trainer undertook to report back to the Stewards on the post race condition of the gelding. Tnrs rep reported the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding. 14 POLICY The Australian Turf Club is committed to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) across all our venues and endeavours to comply at all times with all the requirements of the NSW Liquor Act 2007. The Club is an active member of a number of Local Liquor Accords including the Eastern Beaches Liquor Accord and also the Rosehill and Liverpool Liquor Accords. The Australian Turf Club has adopted the following House Policy, which provides a framework for the Responsible Service of Alcohol. ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION Patrons who are intoxicated or approaching intoxication will be refused admission to our venues. Patrons who are observed drinking upon approach to one of our venues will be refused entry. Appropriate and compliant signage will be displayed at all entry points. Patrons on board “Party Buses’, Limousines or Hire Cars with alcohol present will have their intoxication levels assessed by Security and risk refusal of entry to the venue. Any patron refused service by bar staff or identified by Security as approaching intoxication will be asked to leave the venue immediately as per Section 77 of the NSW Liquor Act 2007 UNDER AGE DRINKING The Australian Turf Club recognises the following fonns of identification: • A driver’s or rider’s licence or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country) • Australian passport or a foreign passport issued by another country, • NSW photo card (issued by Roads and Maritime Services NSW) • Proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age • Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post. Patrons who appear to be aged 25 years or under may be asked for identification at any time by Security, Police or an ATC staff member. If identification is unable to, or refused to be produced that patron will be asked to leave the venue. Any minor found in close proximity to or using alcohol or gaming outlets will be asked to leave the venue. The person identified as being responsible for the minor (as per the NSW Liquor Act 2007 in relation to Responsible Adults) will also be asked to leave the venue. ANTI-SOCIAL bEHAVIOUR Any patron found to be disrupting the quiet enjoyment of other patrons around them by means of their actions or behaviour will be asked to leave the venue. TRAINING AND PROMOTIONS All staff have been informed about their obligations in relation to this policy on Responsible Service of Alcohol and have been adequately trained to support this policy. 15 (1) At a race meeting within the metropolitan area, a bookmaker is obliged to lay the odds displayed if demanded by the backer, except that the bookmaker is not compelled to lose on any one bet more than the amount Racing NSW may determine and publish as the minimum bet list entttled “Betting limits for on-course Bookmakers to comply with BR13”, as published on tts webstte and amended from time to time. (2) When the backer claims the bookmaker for a win and place bet which is greater than the limits prescribed by this rule, the bookmaker must bet the backer the proportional equivalent of an each-way wager. (3) At a race meeting outside the metropolitan area or at an audttorium or betting office, the committee of a club may from time to time determine the minimum wager which bookmakers must be bound to lay when betting on any part of the club’s premises. (4) Once a race has started, a bookmaker is not compelled to accept any bet or, alternatively, is not compelled to bet the minimum limits prescribed in this rule. 16 Children are welcome at all race meetings held at Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Canterbury Park and Warwick Farm. On many weekend race meetings there is free children’s entertainment available. Children in the general admission area should be under the company of a responsible adult at all times. Children entering the Members’ Enclosure must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times and must be suitably attired. There are no restricted areas within the racecourse (except for ‘Members’ Only Areas’) however patrons under the age of 18 years of age (minors) are not permitted entry to the racecourse unless accompanied by their Legal Guardian or Loco Parentis. (Responsible adult). This can be in the form of: • A parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor • A person who is, for time being, in loco parentis to the minor. This person must be 25 years of age or older and be able to verify to the satisfaction of the ATC their relationship to the minor Definition of In Loco Parentis. The term “Loco Parentis” describes a relationship similar to that of a parent to a child; specifically it refers to an individual who assumes parental status and responsibilities for another individual, usually a young person, without formally adopting that person. Any minor found in close proximity to or using alcohol or gaming outlets will be asked to leave the venue. The person identified as being responsible for the minor (as per the NSW Liquor Act 2007 in relation to Responsible Adults) will also be asked to leave the venue. Prosecution by the NSW Police is also an option.
