2021 bet365 Swan Hill Carnival Day 3

2 PRESIDENT’S WELCOME Welcome to 2021 bet365 Swan Hill Cup Carnival. This year once again we will be affected by COVID 19 restrictions however we are racing over 3 days and as I write this unfortunately this maybe without members, owners or the public being present to enjoy the racing atmosphere. Day 1 is the Pooles Accountants Golden Topaz Day with the Topaz being the main feature race of the day. The other feature race of the day is the VOBIS Gold Elvstroem Classic sponsored by Jarrod Arentz Solar & Electrical. Both races attract top class fields and produce excellent racing in our 8-race program. Day 2 is the Busbiz Family Fun day and again due to COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to celebrate as we would like. The feature race on this day is the North West Ag Quambatook Cup. Day 3 is the highlight of the program with the running of the bet365 Swan Hill Cup with prizemoney of $125,000. We also have the Tasco Petroleum Think Big Club Classic. We are fortunate to have such a great program of racing over the 3 days under the trying COVID 19 conditions. Once again this year we are fortunate to have excellent sponsors and on behalf of the Swan Hill Jockey Club I would like to thank all sponsors for their continued support during these trying times. Your support is very much appreciated, and we look forward to supporting your businesses throughout the year. During the year we have received financial support from Racing Victoria, Country Racing Victoria and the Victorian State Government which has enabled us to maintain and upgrade our facilities on course. Thoroughbred racing in Victoria is fortunate to be racing during COVID 19 restrictions. I would like to wish the many people that are supported in our industry including Trainers, jockeys, stable hands, owners and club staff a safe time ahead.
