29 Feehan Row RACECOURSE WORKS MASTERPLAN The MVRC has continued to progress the design and planning of the new Valley Racecourse with the consultant team. Unfortunately, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we are slightly behind the program; however, the necessary consultation and engagement with critical stakeholders on the draft masterplan in accordance with the planning controls will take place late in 2020. Once the masterplan is endorsed, the detailed design phase will progress, including the refinement of both the racecourse design response and the new state of the art grandstand. MASTER PLAN UPDATE THE VALLEY OF TOMORROW STAGE A: FEEHAN ROW TOWNHOUSES & THOMAS STREET APARTMENTS Early works have been completed to make way for the first stage of terraces and townhomes at Moonee Valley Park’s ‘Feehan Row.’ The MVRC is excited to report that the construction commencement milestone has been achieved, with the first Moonee Valley Park residents due to move in early 2022. The Thomas Street Apartments, the first apartment building, located in the Legends Car Park fronting onto Thomas Street, is programmed to commence construction in the first half of 2021. This apartment building will comprise 69 apartments with the sales campaign set to launch in late 2020.
