13 Today we come together to reflect and pay tribute to the bravery, resilience, and sacrifices of our servicemen, women, and their equine partners. The day begins with a commemorative service in the Mounting Yard at 12:55pm. Flanked by jockeys, the service will be led by Chief Executive John Miller, with Geoff Sentance from Young Veterans Sunshine Coast reading the ode and Brendan Hucknell on the bugle, followed by a minute’s silence.
